Abstract
When a patient with history of previous tubal ligation develops any of the signs or symptoms of pregnancy, the diagnosis of extrauterine pregnancy has to be very strongly considered, as the ratio of ectopic to intrauterine pregnancy is higher among pregnancies occurring after failed sterilization than among the general population.
The possibility of ectopic pregnancy should not be excluded simply because of a patient¢¥s past history which tubal sterilization procedure was performed.
A case of ectopic pregnancy in 35 year old woman, which was occurred 21 months after laparoscopic tubal sterilization using electrocoagulation and division, was reported.
